=Questions of uncertainty=
* Are there any differences between the two companies (Nintendo Power and Prima) when they cover the same game?
* Is North America the only country to have official guides? What about Europe or Japan? If so, how are those handled?
* How does the process of writing up a strategy guide go during game development? (I bet there's potential beta elements info out of this, like [[List_of_Super_Mario_Galaxy_beta_elements#Prima_Guide|this!]])
* How does an external company get rights to write a strategy guide? Did Nintendo talked to Prime Games, or the other way around? (Looking at Prime Games per say)
* Why didn't Nintendo go over companies that wrote "unauthorized" strategy guides of their games? What about in the internet?
* Is there a lack of new content that can't be found in-game in later strategy guides?
* How many units are issued whenever a game comes out? Do they issue more units if they sold out?
* Why do strategy guides still exist in the market even though the internet has broken the paywall to great info?

Questions of uncertainty

  • Are there any differences between the two companies (Nintendo Power and Prima) when they cover the same game?
  • Is North America the only country to have official guides? What about Europe or Japan? If so, how are those handled?
  • How does the process of writing up a strategy guide go during game development? (I bet there's potential beta elements info out of this, like this!)
  • How does an external company get rights to write a strategy guide? Did Nintendo talked to Prime Games, or the other way around? (Looking at Prime Games per say)
  • Why didn't Nintendo go over companies that wrote "unauthorized" strategy guides of their games? What about in the internet?
  • Is there a lack of new content that can't be found in-game in later strategy guides?
  • How many units are issued whenever a game comes out? Do they issue more units if they sold out?
  • Why do strategy guides still exist in the market even though the internet has broken the paywall to great info?
