The Podoboo Orb is an orb debuting in Mario Party 5 as Bubble Capsule, where it can be thrown to a space on the board, or used on the player for ten coins. Its effect is to catch the player on fire and bounce them forward ten spaces. The only downsides are that the player also loses any other capsules they may have had, they cannot control the direction that they go in if they approach a junction, and all board events (including Capsule Machines and Star Spaces) are ignored.[1] The Podoboo Orb returns in Mario Party 6, where they cost five coins to buy at an Orb Shop, and whoever walks on a space with a Podoboo Orb gets attacked by Podoboos and loses ten coins.

The Podoboo Orb does not return in Mario Party 7, with Spiny Orbs taking their role instead.
