Tunnel of Lava! is a single-player Bowser minigame found in Mario Party 7. Its name is a pun on the name of the carnival ride called the tunnel of love. This minigame's name describes the location as opposed to the gameplay, despite the fact that all the single-player Bowser minigames are in the same location.
Introduction[edit]
A Mechakoopa eats a key, then runs off into a door. Moments later, a large group of Mechakoopas emerges from the door.
Gameplay[edit]
The player must jump on the Mechakoopas to find the one that swallowed the key. The Mechakoopas constantly rotate in a circle and move in and out. Occasionally, they turn red and breathe fire, and touching the Mechakoopas or their flames when this happens stuns the player temporarily. If the player finds the correct Mechakoopa within 30 seconds, they win.
Ending[edit]
The surviving Mechakoopas flee into the same door that the one who stole the key fled into and exited with the rest of them at the start. If the player wins, they run up to the large door at the end of the tunnel and escape by using the key on the door. The player celebrates their victory as this happens. If the player loses, Bowser crushes the player, laughs, and raises one of his fists in triumph.
