You make a good point about previewing.  I'll accept the reminder.  Figured there might have been an off chance you'd rescind the warning but I do believe it was warranted.
My plan is that things will sail so smoothly that it will expire long before anything comes up.  Speaking of which, when do reminders expire?

That elicited quite a few chuckles from me. I actually downloaded MM a day after Easter and am looking forward to the mask mechanic Nintendo implemented once I get done with OoT. Speaking of OoT, I only made it to Bongo Bongo in the past week and am having difficulty beating him, having died three times already. During my last attempt, I had thirty arrows, a bottle of Lon Lon milk, and a Red Potion. It's funny because as soon as I would fire an arrow at one of his hands, that hand would bang the drum, and I would miss. Once I did hit it, I would either get attacked before being able to hit the second one or get knocked off by Bongo Bongo's face before I could fire an arrow at it. Even when I could hit it, I quickly found that Link can't run for crap on the drum with the hover boots equipped, as the hardest part of the fight for me is trying to scramble up to Bongo Bongo and get off more than two hits, if I can get to him at all. Suffice to say that my resources in terms of health are now gone, and I have no money to buy more arrows (I only have two left), so I'm forcing myself not to play the game because I don't want to damage my television or controller, especially since I always have to go back to Lon Lon Ranch to get more milk and then go through the entire Shadow Temple again...hopefully Gerudo Fortress and the Sky Temple aren't this irritating.... In other news, the eShop apparently has a June 6th release (it will be a relief to update the 3DS article), and there is footage of OoT 3D's Master Quest on YouTube. There's also a rumor of new AR Games, though we're probably not going to get any information until E3, which is in 23 days and nine minutes as of this writing (woo-hoo!). {{User:Mario4Ever/sig}}

*You don't want to post anything about how to hack the game, as the Mario Wiki doesn't support piracy.  However, if you have any information, which came from hacking the game, you can always add the info onto the '''Trivia''' section on pages; for one example, in ''New Super Mario Bros. Wii'', Yoshi can eat Cooligans, but lacks the ability to jump on one. {{User:M&SG/sig}} 07:57, 19 May 2011 (EDT)

== Zelda News ==
Just thought you'd like to know I finally finished it today. I had twelve hearts, thirty arrows, two fairies, and the Biggeron sword going into the Ganondorf fight. I ended up dying against Ganondorf once (forgot to draw the sword, stayed too close to Ganondorf when he threw those balls of energy, kept falling off the platforms, etc). Getting the Master Sword back during the Ganon fight was easy enough, but I got killed by him twice because he would turn around while I was in the middle of a jump slash (didn't help that I hit him with the Biggeron sword about twenty times before I got the idea of using the Master Sword), and by this time I had no means of healing myself, so I would die and have to escape the tower all the while with Zelda leading me in circles...suffice to say that driving the Master Sword into Ganon's head was the highlight of my day. Now, to pass the time until I get the chance to do it two more times on the 3DS, I've started Majora's Mask. You'd have probably laughed at me running around Clock Town for two of the three days looking for the entrance to the observatory before finding out what I had to do. I've got as far as getting the OoT back from the Skull Kid. I can already tell this game is going to piss me off...after I spend the rest of the summer playing through OoT and Master Quest in 3D. :) {{User:Mario4Ever/sig}}
:Yeah, I'm one of those people who just wants to get games done most of the time rather than trying for 100 percent (fyi, the Like Like in the Shadow Barrier never touched me. I'm just thankful that if I happened to fall in any of the barriers, nothing reset). SMG 2 was an exception, though, but I digress. Tingle is probably the ugliest video game character I've ever seen, even uglier imo than Termina's Moon. I'm looking forward to the temples in Majora's Mask, as being a Deku Sprout already has me intrigued about other abilities Link will gain (I already know he can be a Goron), and I did talk to the Scarecrow. I'm sure he'll come in handy. As for the Wii U, I just wish it would hurry up and get here. I can't wait to play ''Mario'', ''Metroid'' (I've heard one is possibly in development (hopefully by Retro)), and ''Zelda'' games in HD. What Nintendo needs to do, though, is implement stereoscopic 3D into it, but that would probably augment the price considerably, and I'm pretty sure Nintendo doesn't want to go the route of Sony and charge 500 dollars for a gaming console, not that I wouldn't pay it if I had to, being the Nintendo slave I've been since the age of five.... {{User:Mario4Ever/sig}}
::The Thieves' Fortress was probably my favorite part of OoT (besides the Ganon fight). I liked the idea of Link being some sort of assassin, infiltrating the fortress (more fun at night) and slaughtering any Gerudos he sees. The thought of playing through a Terminian equivalent gives me chills of excitement, and I like how Majora's Mask actually gives Link the ability to manipulate time rather than just travel through it (though I don't like the fact that Link left Hyrule to look for that annoying Navi). I can see why Nintendo left that out of OoT. Things like the Biggoron sword sidequest and the timed dungeon puzzles would have been far too easy. On a somewhat related note, after watching [http://e3src.nintendo.com/games/detail/#/wii/zeldass this], I wonder how Skyward Sword qualifies as a [http://www.zeldapower.com/index.php/zelda-news/90-zelda-news/755-skyward-sword-ocarina-of-time-prequel.html prequel] to OoT. I know that the Master Sword becomes the Skyward Sword, so I'm somewhat confused. My best theory is that at the end, Link is sent back in time, and his memory is erased, thereby setting off OoT. I don't see any other way for him to be an adult in Skyward Sword and then a child in OoT. {{User:Mario4Ever/sig}}
:::When you put it that way, I'm psyched for that Thieves' Fortress-ish area. That is an interesting theory you have, and it makes a lot of sense, but I just don't understand what happens to Link in the interim between SS and OoT. Knowing Miyamoto, it's going to be some crazy thing that simultaneously makes no sense and perfect sense. Personally, I see the Zelda timeline as a sadistic joke on Miyamoto's part. Just when you think you have it figured out, they release a game that screws the whole thing up, regardless of whether you go by the theory of a single timeline or a split one (one with events before Link is sent back in time at the end of OoT, one after Majora's Mask). I don't want to know where the 2D games and a ALttP fit in. I actually don't think we'll ever know the exact timeline until Nintendo stops making ''Zelda'' games (no way it stops with Miyamoto's retirement/death), maybe not even then. I suppose the company had to have ''one'' franchise with a non-linear timeline. {{User:Mario4Ever/sig}}
== This is incredibly irksome.... ==
I know this is somewhat random, but I cannot understand why the Metroid Wiki is affiliated with NIWA. I was fixing up Samus' article for accuracy like you did with Link, and I never realized how terrible that wiki is until I saw the articles I was linking to. As a ''Metroid'' fan, I am insulted at what seems to be a total lack of effort to cover anything. I wish Wikitroid was affiliated with NIWA instead. Just compare [http://www.metroidwiki.org/wiki/Chozo this] (from the Metroid Wiki) to [http://metroid.wikia.com/wiki/Chozo this] (from Wikitroid). Since you've played ''Prime'', you know how important the subject of these articles is. Speaking of ''Prime'', [http://www.metroidwiki.org/wiki/Metroid_Prime_(game) here] [http://metroid.wikia.com/wiki/Metroid_prime you go]. {{User:Mario4Ever/sig}}
:I'm aware that ZeldaWiki is better than Zeldapedia. I admire the former for its thoroughness and ease of use. I don't know about you, but it was for those reasons that I was attracted to this wiki. Everything (for the most part) is well-written and pleasing to the eye, and I can tell that a lot of effort goes into what gets added here, and I see the same qualities in Wikitroid (not that Metroid Wiki users don't care about their content). Certainly, Metroid Wiki can get better, but as of now, I don't see it as an effective alternative to Wikipedia for people who want information on subjects in our articles we just touch upon. It's a shame that Wikitroid is affiliated with Wikia, as it's one of the best resources on ''Metroid'' content I've seen. {{User:Mario4Ever/sig}}

  4. I'm new at this, so for now, I'm still learning things, so please forgive me for any noobish behavior I show.
  5. Please use proper grammar and spelling, I won't freak out if you don't, but I might correct the mistakes =P.
  6. I don't think this will be an issue, but please use English when posting on my page, I haven't finished studying French yet.

Re: Hi (dorky smile)

The only one I picked up was Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition. I had seen footage on the Nintendo 3DS YouTube channel and was blown away by the graphics, not that those matter too much to me, but they're a vast improvement over Nintendo's other handhelds. It was really hard for me to decide in the days before launch which game I wanted (only had the budget for one), torn between that and Samurai Warriors Chronicles. I ultimately wanted a new experience, which made me avoid Pilotwings. The others did not appeal to me that much. I'm a little disappointed that the ones I really want (Paper Mario, Super Mario, Ocarina of Time) weren't launch titles, but oh well. Mario4Ever (talk) 17:11, 10 April 2011 (EDT)

From what I've seen and heard of Ocarina, it will probably be the best game in the 3DS library (at least for this half of the year). I'm looking forward to seeing how 3D is implemented in that game, and I'm excited at the prospect of having all of the menus on the touch screen. Apparently, Pilotwings has fared better than Steel Diver, though not by a large margin. (IGN gave the former an 8/10, the latter a 7/10, X-Play being harsher (3/5 and 2/5, respectively)). In any case, I didn't expect the initial launch line-up to blow me away, and I thought it better to have the 3DS now and get the really good games later rather than waiting until those games came out and then getting the console, so I wouldn't be one of the people getting used to the thing a month or so after launch. I hope I'm not rambling too much. Mario4Ever (talk) 17:33, 10 April 2011 (EDT)
What can I say? If I'm willing to spend all of my money on Nintendo's latest console, I want my money's worth. I didn't mention Metroid because I've heard nothing about one, though it is my second favorite series after Mario (I just recently started playing Zelda games other than Phantom Hourglass). I love the Prime Trilogy (it took about a year for me to finish all three games), and I hope Retro makes something for the 3DS (I didn't like Hunters), and I wouldn't mind another collaborative effort between the big N and Team Ninja (the latter's already putting a stage based off of the Ridley Other M fight in Dead or Alive: Dimensions). Whatever Nintendo decides to do with the franchise will be great, though I think it will be a while before we see anything. At best, what we'll see in the near future is Super Metroid in the eShop, as I've heard that the "3D Classics" Iwata mentioned at GDC 2011 are NES and SNES games. Mario4Ever (talk) 20:25, 10 April 2011 (EDT)
Sounds fun. I've never played Majora's Mask, though, mainly because I'm currently playing OoT, and I'm not thrilled about the time limit aspect MM has. As for OoT, I'll probably never get through the Shadow Temple because, like the userbox I made says, the 3DS is taking up all available free time, which kind of sucks because I want to finish OoT before its 3D counterpart is released. I've also got to finish Super Mario RPG, MegaMan 2, Mario 64, DKC, etc, etc. Anyway, while on the subject of the 3DS, do you know if there is any progress being made on the AR Games article? Mario4Ever (talk) 20:59, 10 April 2011 (EDT)
Given that information, I'll have to try MM eventually. By eventually, I probably mean in a year, lol. Anyway, if the AR Games article ever materializes, I assume we'll only need pictures of the Mario-related content. Depending on how much time I have next week, I'll try and get those on the 3DS to be uploaded if and when needed. Mario4Ever (talk) 21:38, 10 April 2011 (EDT)
We should call it AR Games. Calling it AR Cards restricts us to only including information about the Question Block Card and the five Character Cards, but our focus is on the AR Games in which Mario characters appear, which are mainly Fishing and Graffiti. I'll check with a sysop to 1) see if it's against the rules for other users to make an article in accordance with a proposal if the proposal does not take action as specified in the rules and 2) if an article is even allowed to be made. Mario4Ever (talk) 20:20, 11 April 2011 (EDT)
Well, I just asked M&SG, and I'll let you know how that goes. Doesn't hurt to make sure we don't break any rules.... Mario4Ever (talk) 20:34, 11 April 2011 (EDT)
You can go ahead and get started. Am I allowed to add/edit stuff on your work page? Mario4Ever (talk) 21:11, 11 April 2011 (EDT)

Proposal

Looks like my services (in terms of pictures) are no longer required. As for your question, there was already a Cameos section for Blooper, so I just put a link in there. I also put a link in Mario's Other Appearances section. Is there anything else that needs to be done concerning the AR Games article? Mario4Ever (talk) 15:14, 12 April 2011 (EDT)

Looking at the images I have, they're not as good in quality as the ones currently there (mainly due to lighting issues), so I'll leave those until I get better ones. I added a picture of mine to the Face Raiders section of the 3DS article, though, as I find it quite humorous. Here's my userbox if you want it, and I'll gladly take yours, though I find having conversations with others (like this one) much more meaningful. Mario4Ever (talk) 15:45, 12 April 2011 (EDT)
File:Dimentio.jpg

Irony...

I am amused by your userbox, mainly because I noticed a comma splice on it, which I fixed before adding it to my userbox tower. Not to worry, though, as most others users will either not notice or care. :) Mario4Ever (talk) 16:33, 12 April 2011 (EDT)

OoT

Really? I'm surprised. I knew Nintendo wanted to wait until after E3, but I didn't think it would be that early. Estimates I had seen had either June 30th or July 2nd. I'm even more excited now, especially since I know they won't screw this up. Miyamoto won't let that happen. If it isn't up to par by the 19th, it'll be delayed, and as Miyamoto says, "A delayed game is eventually good, but a bad game is bad forever." I wanted it to be a launch title (not just in the line-up), but I understand that a delay of the 3DS would have been necessary. I think a nine-month waiting period was long enough, don't you? Mario4Ever (talk) 17:19, 12 April 2011 (EDT)

Oh that's right! Skyward Sword's (somehow) a prequel to OoT, and the sword (somehow) becomes the Master Sword, according to Miyamoto. I think they should add a "Strangle" command because I don't want to hear "Hey! Listen!" in that annoyingly high-pitched voice ever again.... Mario4Ever (talk) 18:13, 12 April 2011 (EDT)
I don't even find that useful, since I can never see the shadows, probably because I'm never standing around in those rooms. I found that race hard, too, and I think Ingo's a moron if he never thought Epona could jump that small fence, even more so because he didn't recognize Epona until after the first race. As for Cuccos, I think it would be a good idea for Miyamoto to give Link a shotgun. I hate those birds. Mario4Ever (talk) 18:49, 12 April 2011 (EDT)
Well, I thought the race was hard, at least the last part. It was irritating because when I was at that part of the game, I hadn't gotten any wallet upgrades, so I'd have to fight a crapload of enemies and keep entering/leaving Hyrule Castle Town just to make enough money to pay Igor to ride Epona. I never fought ReDeads/Gibdos until I got the Sun's Song; I just avoided any I saw (when I could). I have to admit that when I was caught by a Wallmaster for the first time, I was scared out of my mind...Floormasters, on the other hand, are jokes. I hope Nintendo incorporates some aspects of TP (such as the ability to use your sword on horseback) in the OoT remake. Mario4Ever (talk) 19:26, 12 April 2011 (EDT)
That is a funny story. I have a funny story as well, but it doesn't relate to OoT. Rather, it has to do with Super Mario 64. I was around 7 or 8 when I had the game (N64 cartridge; I now have it on VC), and like many people, I thought it was the best game ever made...until I got to Big Boo's Haunt. As I was going through the mansion, I began hyperventilating. Something about the Boos freaked me out, as did the flying books and the killer piano. I ended up running around punching everything in sight before losing all of my lives. I never played the game again until Super Mario 64 DS came out...that's eight years after the release of the original game. Mario4Ever (talk) 20:31, 12 April 2011 (EDT)
I spent longer in the Bottom of the Well, but that's only because I couldn't find the Lens of Truth. Now that I have it, I just want to get out of the Shadow Temple. I don't really find any graphics of any game dated (as far as Nintendo games go), and I find myself playing VC games more often than the main games I own (I haven't finished Galaxy because it's not as fun as the sequel, which I completed 100% in July (best month ever, even with the 850+ deaths)). No matter how old, they have appeal to me, even ones I never had a chance to play until recently (i.e. MegaMan 2). I wish the video game industry today could regain the focus it had on gameplay all those years ago; Nintendo's never lost it, but other first-party companies and "modern" gamers have. Nothing compares to fighting Ridley in Super Metroid or beating the crap out of Dr. Eggman in Sonic the Hedgehog. Most of these games play as well as I remember, and I like how I can modify the controls for the ones that don't. Mario4Ever (talk)
I see. I also thought having the Whomp King make a return appearance was a great idea. I also like how they only included one course from SM64...the game's great and all, but it doesn't really need to be remade again. If they hadn't done this one, I wouldn't have minded a remake of Bob-omb Battlefield or maybe even Tiny-Huge Island. Mario4Ever (talk) 21:17, 12 April 2011 (EDT)
I live online whenever I want something. From the last E3 to March 27th, you can bet that any free time I had was spent reading information and watching videos about the 3DS. I still do, lol. I'm that obsessed. Mario4Ever (talk) 21:40, 12 April 2011 (EDT)

Your comment

I was getting sick of using colons, so I made a new section (Car tel est notre bon plaisir ("for such is our good pleasure") as Louis XIV would say)). I've begun to hate IGN as well as X-Play because they generally rate Nintendo's games according to standards the company doesn't use in its games. To those people, every game must have mind-blowing graphics and wi-fi. Very rarely do games get the ratings they deserve (I thought SMG2 deserved the perfect score it got from both and others). As for Zelda Informer, I've never heard of it, so I'll have to check it out. Mario4Ever (talk) 20:23, 13 April 2011 (EDT)

Random question

What is your time in GMT right now? I'm getting confused because some of the TPPs have been marked as settled. This wouldn't be a problem except that according to my time, the deadlines are nowhere near 23:59. I had this issue yesterday as well, and I'm trying to figure out if my computer and clocks are wrong or if people are getting ahead of themselves. Mario4Ever (talk) 19:15, 29 April 2011 (EDT)

edits

Sorry about the many edits.

In my opinion, however, messing around with table styles in such a way as to potentially render the section unreadable merits a non minor tag on the edit.

If I messed up it would have been a disaster, so I elected to err on the side of caution and not mark them as minor.

With this new information, do you still believe the reminder is warranted?

I'd prefer an informal resolution.

Shentino 11:42, 11 May 2011 (EDT)

You make a good point about previewing. I'll accept the reminder. Figured there might have been an off chance you'd rescind the warning but I do believe it was warranted.

My plan is that things will sail so smoothly that it will expire long before anything comes up. Speaking of which, when do reminders expire?

Shentino 19:25, 12 May 2011 (EDT)

That's just sad....

That elicited quite a few chuckles from me. I actually downloaded MM a day after Easter and am looking forward to the mask mechanic Nintendo implemented once I get done with OoT. Speaking of OoT, I only made it to Bongo Bongo in the past week and am having difficulty beating him, having died three times already. During my last attempt, I had thirty arrows, a bottle of Lon Lon milk, and a Red Potion. It's funny because as soon as I would fire an arrow at one of his hands, that hand would bang the drum, and I would miss. Once I did hit it, I would either get attacked before being able to hit the second one or get knocked off by Bongo Bongo's face before I could fire an arrow at it. Even when I could hit it, I quickly found that Link can't run for crap on the drum with the hover boots equipped, as the hardest part of the fight for me is trying to scramble up to Bongo Bongo and get off more than two hits, if I can get to him at all. Suffice to say that my resources in terms of health are now gone, and I have no money to buy more arrows (I only have two left), so I'm forcing myself not to play the game because I don't want to damage my television or controller, especially since I always have to go back to Lon Lon Ranch to get more milk and then go through the entire Shadow Temple again...hopefully Gerudo Fortress and the Sky Temple aren't this irritating.... In other news, the eShop apparently has a June 6th release (it will be a relief to update the 3DS article), and there is footage of OoT 3D's Master Quest on YouTube. There's also a rumor of new AR Games, though we're probably not going to get any information until E3, which is in 23 days and nine minutes as of this writing (woo-hoo!). Mario4Ever (talk)

Hacks

  • You don't want to post anything about how to hack the game, as the Mario Wiki doesn't support piracy. However, if you have any information, which came from hacking the game, you can always add the info onto the Trivia section on pages; for one example, in New Super Mario Bros. Wii, Yoshi can eat Cooligans, but lacks the ability to jump on one. RedYoshiMK7Signature.png M&SG (talk) 07:57, 19 May 2011 (EDT)

The perfect run, Super Mario Galaxy 2: Help me!!!! Olors

Zelda News

Just thought you'd like to know I finally finished it today. I had twelve hearts, thirty arrows, two fairies, and the Biggeron sword going into the Ganondorf fight. I ended up dying against Ganondorf once (forgot to draw the sword, stayed too close to Ganondorf when he threw those balls of energy, kept falling off the platforms, etc). Getting the Master Sword back during the Ganon fight was easy enough, but I got killed by him twice because he would turn around while I was in the middle of a jump slash (didn't help that I hit him with the Biggeron sword about twenty times before I got the idea of using the Master Sword), and by this time I had no means of healing myself, so I would die and have to escape the tower all the while with Zelda leading me in circles...suffice to say that driving the Master Sword into Ganon's head was the highlight of my day. Now, to pass the time until I get the chance to do it two more times on the 3DS, I've started Majora's Mask. You'd have probably laughed at me running around Clock Town for two of the three days looking for the entrance to the observatory before finding out what I had to do. I've got as far as getting the OoT back from the Skull Kid. I can already tell this game is going to piss me off...after I spend the rest of the summer playing through OoT and Master Quest in 3D. :) Mario4Ever (talk)

Yeah, I'm one of those people who just wants to get games done most of the time rather than trying for 100 percent (fyi, the Like Like in the Shadow Barrier never touched me. I'm just thankful that if I happened to fall in any of the barriers, nothing reset). SMG 2 was an exception, though, but I digress. Tingle is probably the ugliest video game character I've ever seen, even uglier imo than Termina's Moon. I'm looking forward to the temples in Majora's Mask, as being a Deku Sprout already has me intrigued about other abilities Link will gain (I already know he can be a Goron), and I did talk to the Scarecrow. I'm sure he'll come in handy. As for the Wii U, I just wish it would hurry up and get here. I can't wait to play Mario, Metroid (I've heard one is possibly in development (hopefully by Retro)), and Zelda games in HD. What Nintendo needs to do, though, is implement stereoscopic 3D into it, but that would probably augment the price considerably, and I'm pretty sure Nintendo doesn't want to go the route of Sony and charge 500 dollars for a gaming console, not that I wouldn't pay it if I had to, being the Nintendo slave I've been since the age of five.... The Thieves' Fortress was probably my favorite part of OoT (besides the Ganon fight). I liked the idea of Link being some sort of assassin, infiltrating the fortress (more fun at night) and slaughtering any Gerudos he sees. The thought of playing through a Terminian equivalent gives me chills of excitement, and I like how Majora's Mask actually gives Link the ability to manipulate time rather than just travel through it (though I don't like the fact that Link left Hyrule to look for that annoying Navi). I can see why Nintendo left that out of OoT. Things like the Biggoron sword sidequest and the timed dungeon puzzles would have been far too easy. On a somewhat related note, after watching this, I wonder how Skyward Sword qualifies as a prequel to OoT. I know that the Master Sword becomes the Skyward Sword, so I'm somewhat confused. My best theory is that at the end, Link is sent back in time, and his memory is erased, thereby setting off OoT. I don't see any other way for him to be an adult in Skyward Sword and then a child in OoT. Mario4Ever (talk)
When you put it that way, I'm psyched for that Thieves' Fortress-ish area. That is an interesting theory you have, and it makes a lot of sense, but I just don't understand what happens to Link in the interim between SS and OoT. Knowing Miyamoto, it's going to be some crazy thing that simultaneously makes no sense and perfect sense. Personally, I see the Zelda timeline as a sadistic joke on Miyamoto's part. Just when you think you have it figured out, they release a game that screws the whole thing up, regardless of whether you go by the theory of a single timeline or a split one (one with events before Link is sent back in time at the end of OoT, one after Majora's Mask). I don't want to know where the 2D games and a ALttP fit in. I actually don't think we'll ever know the exact timeline until Nintendo stops making Zelda games (no way it stops with Miyamoto's retirement/death), maybe not even then. I suppose the company had to have one franchise with a non-linear timeline. Mario4Ever (talk)

This is incredibly irksome....

I know this is somewhat random, but I cannot understand why the Metroid Wiki is affiliated with NIWA. I was fixing up Samus' article for accuracy like you did with Link, and I never realized how terrible that wiki is until I saw the articles I was linking to. As a Metroid fan, I am insulted at what seems to be a total lack of effort to cover anything. I wish Wikitroid was affiliated with NIWA instead. Just compare this (from the Metroid Wiki) to this (from Wikitroid). Since you've played Prime, you know how important the subject of these articles is. Speaking of Prime, here you go. I'm aware that ZeldaWiki is better than Zeldapedia. I admire the former for its thoroughness and ease of use. I don't know about you, but it was for those reasons that I was attracted to this wiki. Everything (for the most part) is well-written and pleasing to the eye, and I can tell that a lot of effort goes into what gets added here, and I see the same qualities in Wikitroid (not that Metroid Wiki users don't care about their content). Certainly, Metroid Wiki can get better, but as of now, I don't see it as an effective alternative to Wikipedia for people who want information on subjects in our articles we just touch upon. It's a shame that Wikitroid is affiliated with Wikia, as it's one of the best resources on Metroid content I've seen. Mario4Ever (talk)
