Santa, Santa Claus for long is said to be the one who gives presents to kids in Christmas. He appears in some Super Mario Bros. Super Show! episodes.
In a live action segment he goes to the Mario Brothers Plumbing house because his sled got stolen. And in a cartoon show where King Koopa kidnaps him.
The Hollijolli Mayor in Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time resembles him.
Also, Hermie III mistakes Mario for Santa Claus.
Trivia
- Santa Claus was mentioned in Super Mario 64. His name was stated in the sign near the cabin at the of Cool Cool Mountain.
- The Hollijolli Mayor greatly resembles common depictions of Santa Claus.
