A Chime Ball is a silver-like ball with a red music note on it. It is also an item found only found in Yoshi's Universal Gravitation. Chime Balls help Yoshi get through levels. Sometimes, the Chime Ball would roll over a Chime Note, causing a Note to appear. In the game, Yoshi can jump onto the ball and player would tilt the Game Boy to whichever direction they wished to go to. Sometimes, Yoshi would have to duck under walls and enemies or he falls off the ball and in some cases, falls into spikes.
