A Lost World Barrel is a special type of barrel in Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest. It is a shining, golden barrel. It appears five times in the game, found once in every world, excluding Gangplank Galleon and The Flying Krock, the game's first and last worlds.
During the events of the game, Diddy and his partner, Dixie, can find a Lost World Barrel floating in the back of Klubba's Kiosk. Klubba, however, will not allow them to enter the barrel unless they pay 15 Kremkoins. So, after paying the large Kremling, the Kongs can get into the barrel. Once entered, the Lost World Barrel will teleport the two heroes into the Lost World, where they can find some new levels.
