The Shell is an item that appears in Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!. Although it is of no real use to Dixie and Kiddy Kong, it is needed to complete a trade.
The Shell was found at the bottom of Lake Orangatanga by Bazaar, who then put it on sale at his general store for five Bear Coins. If the Kongs purchase it, they may present it to Barnacle, who needs it for his collection. In exchange for the Shell, Barnacle trades the Kongs his Banana Bird for it.
