Mario surrounded by Cosmic Clones.
Cosmic Clones are shadowy duplicates of Mario that appear in Super Mario Galaxy 2. Cosmic Clones are created once a certain point is reached in a galaxy and will follow behind Mario, performing every movement Mario makes. Once a certain task is met, such as collecting all five Star Chips, they will disappear.
Known Locations
- Fluffy Bluff Galaxy - They appear on the Pond Planet following Mario until he collects all five of the Star Chips.
- Unknown galaxy involving a Purple Coin challenge (seen above).
- Sky Station Galaxy on a planet with Flip Switches.[1]
- Cloudy Court Galaxy on a planet with clouds and poisonous water[2]
- Unknown Bowser or Bowser Jr. Galaxy, in a Purple Coin challenge.[3]
- Unknown galaxy with lava.[4]
