A Black Yoshi.
Black Yoshi is a Yoshi that appears in Yoshi's Story. He is an unlockable character that hasn't appeared in a lot of games. He and the White Yoshi are special, as they can eat things that other Yoshis cannot, like Peppers. One of these rare dinos can be found in level 2-1: Bone Dragon Pit.
Black Yoshis reappear in Yoshi's Island DS, playable in the Secret levels of each world.
Black Yoshi's also appear in Mario Power Tennis as a color Yoshi can turn with his egg change move.
