Super Mario Chess: Nintendo Collector Edition is a Mario-themed chess set released in September of 2009. There are 32 handpainted characters: Mario(King), Luigi(Queen), Peach(Bishop), Daisy(Bishop), Yoshi(Knight), Toad(Rook), Coin(Pawn), Bowser(King), Bowser Jr.(Queen), Kamek\Magikoopa(Bishop), Birdo(Knight), Goomba(Rook), Koopa Shell(Pawn).
The rules of the game are the same as the original chess games. The game costs $44,95.
