Orange Yoshis are a type of Yoshi. The first appearance of an Orange Yoshi was in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island where he was playable in the sixth level of each world. In Super Mario Sunshine, if Yoshi ate a Pineapple or a Papaya, he would turn orange. While orange, Yoshi's juice would turn enemies into platforms that remained stationary. An Orange Yoshi later reappeared in Yoshi's Island DS, and was only playable on the sixth level of each world.
