Mario in the Hammer Bros. Suit.
The Hammer Bros.' Suit is an item found in Super Mario Bros. 3. This item transform Mario or Luigi in Hammer Mario which gives him the ability to throw Hammer Bros. Hammers. They also gain a fire-proof shell when ducking.
Hammers are an excellent weapon at killing just about everything, including Bowser! But like all the suits, just one hit from an enemy will cause Mario to lose this precious item.
It has also been referred to as Sledge Bros.' Suit.
Trivia
When this item was first discovered, a rumor spread about there also being a Fire Bros. and Ice Bros. Suit. These rumors proved to be false.
