This segment is the Club Mario segment that aired alongside The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! episode "The Great Gladiator Gig," replacing the original live-action segment "Bonkers From Yonkers."
Plot synopsis
The segment starts with a group of children sitting on the couch at Club Mario, introducing themselves to the viewer. One of the girls then begins reading a synopsis for The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! episode "The Great Gladiator Gig," just as Tommy Treehugger and Co-MC, both of which are dressed in stereotypical Roman tunics, arrive.
