Super Mario RPG bestiary changes I saw that you made changes to the enemy statboxes for the remake to be consistent with the original game's statboxes which I do agree with and is good work. However, there is one issue that came out of this, enemies which have a different name in the monster list have the article title by default. Examples of this include on the Cake (boss) and Smithy articles where there are no identifiers or monster list names in the statboxes. I've tried to find a solution myself but I'm can't figure it out without risking breaking a lot so I thought to bring it to your attention instead. It appears the issue was that my template {{SMRPG NS enemy}} (which I based on {{SMRPG enemy}}) used the code altname for things like this, whereas the previously used template {{SMRPG Monster List}} actually uses switchname instead. I'd kinda like to rearrange that character section to be by default->unlockable->DLC (and preferably that part by version update) rather than by alleged weight classes. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 02:08, July 7, 2024 (EDT) The Japanese website only seems to disclose unlock requirements for the alternate costumes: Tanooki Mario is unlocked by winning the Don-chan Cup at 50cc in Grand Prix mode, the other costumes are unlocked via QR codes. I do not know how one would unlock Bowser Jr, Wario or Waluigi. If you have another source with unlock methods, that'd be nice. I also don't think AGPDX is using a weight class system, but rather a similar system to Arcade GP 2: according to the translator, this post states that Daisy is the first female "Balance" type character to join the roster (not "Cruiser"), while this one states Rosalina is a "High-speed" type character (not "Heavy"), and this one states Lakitu is a "Handling" type character (not "Light"), and this one states King Boo is a "Super handling" type (not "Feather"). Hum, well, using this image as an example, it appears Waluigi can be unlocked randomly as one of the prizes of this "Egg Slot" players can use after a race (strange how we don't have anything like that detailed on the page, I do recall a mechanical Yoshi-esque slot machine that gives random rewards in exchange for Mario Coins in gameplay footage). Same deal with Wario and Bowser Jr, but Bowser Jr can also be unlocked by clearing the Toad Cup in the 50cc Grand Prix. rend (talk) (edits) 03:14, July 7, 2024 (EDT) It's time for Spike Top (Blue) to get his own page I know that the blue shelled Spike Top from paper mario has the same name but they're are many other enemies that have the same name as different enemies, and in it's mario maker appearances, it's skin becomes cyan than yellow, and now moves faster than It's Red Counterpart, For the record, I didn't even mention shy guys or Koopa troopas once! It said "technically the second time", purely because movie!Daisy shares her name with regular Daisy (and also because NES Open Tournament Golf's Daisy is only blonde in-game; her artwork shows her with brown hair). This trivia point doesn't automatically mean that this Daisy was intended to be the same Daisy as the one from the games, especially since this point came from the wiki itself instead of some official source: because outside of this trivia point and the fact she's Luigi's love interest, movie!Daisy still shares more similarities with Peach than actual Daisy. Plus, previous concepts for this film had this same character named Hildy instead, so she was not intended to be the same Daisy of Sarasaland anyway. I also have no idea why you suddenly wanted to tell me this with this kinda behavior. We literally never had beef with each other, as this is literally the first time we talked to each other. Here's some examples of how king boo is obviously a big boo: Super mario 64 DS: king boo was referred as big boo (though king boo wasn't specifically called big) and share it's model with the only difference being the crown. Super princess peach: before the battle starts, king boo is shown to be a large boo when he doesn't have his crown on(possibly the same size as the big boos in the game) Super mario bros wonder: unlike many appearances he makes, he's appears to be really huge! Plus, it makes it more difficult for everyone else to follow along with the discussion (especially if they also joined in on the conversation), since it's being held on several random talk pages instead of it all being in one place. The fact that you're continuing these conversations on random user talk pages months after the fact does not make it better, either. Even then, this is still not a good reason to bring a discussion from a general talk page to someone else's personal talk page. Your reasoning for late responses is very understandable, at least. I get it. While it would still be nice to have a response to something a bit sooner, it would also be unrealistic to expect a response immediately as if everyone is chronically online.
