Plot synopsis

The episode beings with the static disappearing from the screen to show Club Mario, with Tommy Treehugger and Co-MC being excited about their show appearing on the TV. The former then introduces himself to the viewer before telling the cameraman switch to "finger puppet cam," featuring the cameraman wearing two finger puppets depicting rabbits with a white shirt and apron on his hands, with them facing the screen. As the finger puppets "walk" closer to Tommy and Co-MC, the former gives a synopsis of The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! episode "Mario and the Beanstalk." He then decides to climb up the potted plant in their studio (referencing a major plot point in both the episode and its original source), with Co-MC warning him to be careful, though finds nothing at the top. He then tells James, who is onstage, to play something "flitty and beanstalkish" for him and Co-MC as they go "satellite surfing," with James then playing his electric guitar. They "satellite surf" to a documentary about helicopter technology, sponsored by the American Helicopter Society, which explains that helicopter technology is first developed for the U.S. Army before finding its way into commerical applications several years later.

The scene then cuts back to Club Mario, with Tommy juggling some objects as he praises the documentary as a "killer special." He then tells the cameraman to switch to the "decoy cam," which features him moving a brown duck slowly across before Tommy throws a toy triceratops at it, knocking it out of his hand. He then welcomes the viewer back to Club Mario, explaining the he and Co-MC are going to watch The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!, but that Co-MC will take them into the show in the most "bodacious" manner. After thanking Tommy, Co-MC then tells James, who is still onstage, to play his guitar, which he promptly does. Co-MC begins a rap about himself and how he is the co-host of Club Mario.

After the show, Co-MC welcomes the viewer back to Club Mario, explaining that it is time for another segment of "Are You Bogus?", which features a guest who claims to be Debbie Gibson.
