Chain Chomp Sprint is a minigame in Mario Superstar Baseball. It involves four players (three of whom are CPU Magikoopas in Challenge mode) trying to collect the most jewels around four bases surrounding a Chain Chomp at Wario Palace within 60 seconds (90 in Special Mode). Jewels are usually arranged into a large row, and a large red jewel, worth ten, appears rarely. When the Chain Chomp wakes up, it attacks any moving player, taking away half their jewels. A Mushroom can appear, allowing a player to move around much faster, but with less movement control.
