The player must jump on Mechakoopas and try to find the one that swallowed the [[Key]]. However, the Mechakoopas constantly rotate in a circle and move in and out. The ending shows the Mechakoopas fleeing from the arena. If the player has the key, they use it to unlock and exit the large door at the end. Should the player lose, Bowser crushes them, raising a fist afterward.
