The player must jump on Mecha-Koopas until they jump on the Mecha-Koopa that swallowed the [[Key]]. However, the Mecha-Koopas constantly rotate in a circle and move in and out. Occasionally, their eyes will glow, and they breathe fire. Touching the flame or Mecha-Koopa will stun the player temporarily. If the player successfully finds the correct Mecha-Koopa within 30 seconds, they avoid Bowser's penalty.
As the Mechakoopas rotate around in circles constantly while moving inside and out, the player tries to find which of them has the key. Mechakoopas can also turn red and breathe fire, stunning the player. If the player fulfills the objective, they win.

*The name of this game describes the location as opposed to the gameplay, despite the fact that all of the single-player Bowser minigames were in the same location.
The ending shows the Mechakoopas fleeing from the arena. If the player has the key, they use it to unlock and exit the large door at the end. Should the player lose, Bowser crushes them, raising a fist afterward.
