Spirit Mountain is the fifth level of Yoshi's Safari. It is located in the Light Realm of Jewelry Land.
Setting[edit]
Much of the terrain is that of a mountain. The mountain appears to be made out of sand except for one path Yoshi follows. Common enemies and obstacles include Bullet Bills, Flying Goombas, Para Bombs, and Spinies. The mini-boss of the level is a Sledge Brother.
Boss Fight: Morton Koopa Jr.[edit]
At the end of the level, the player battles Morton Koopa Jr. The Koopaling fights in a mechanical robot with the appearance of a frog with a top hat. The robot mainly bounces around and occasionally stops to fire green balls from its two sets of blasters. Mario must shoot these blasters to destroy them; after he does so, Morton himself will appear and throw bombs at the duo, giving them the opportunity to shoot him.
