The level starts in a fort with some falling icicles, enemies, and moving platforms. Eventually, the player must navigate through an icicle-filled path and ride a moving platform to arrive at the boss door where [[Boom Boom]] awaits. He must be jumped on three times to be defeated.
The level starts in front of a [[? Block]] and a group of [[Bony Beetle]]s underneath [[icicle]]s. A [[lift]] is found after the Bony Beetles, leading to more Bony Beetles and icicles. The player must ride a second lift while avoiding icicles, leading to a platform. The player must ride two more lifts while avoiding more icicles and [[Spike Trap|spike]] floors. A row of icicles is found above the platform at the top of the lift, which can be avoided by going under two [[Brick Block]]s. More rows of icicles must be avoided by going under gaps in between the icicles. [[Dry Bones]] are also encountered. Another lift is found, leading to the boss door and a ? Block. Icicle Tower, or Frosted Glacier-Tower, is the Tower course of Frosted Glacier in New Super Luigi U. It is unlocked by completing Cooligan Shrooms, and its own completion will unlock Fire and Ice.

Layout[edit]

The level starts in front of a ? Block and a group of Bony Beetles underneath icicles. A lift is found after the Bony Beetles, leading to more Bony Beetles and icicles. The player must ride a second lift while avoiding icicles, leading to a platform. The player must ride two more lifts while avoiding more icicles and spike floors. A row of icicles is found above the platform at the top of the lift, which can be avoided by going under two Brick Blocks.
