In-game description
Burn Zone
Burn Zone from Wario Blast: Featuring Bomberman!
Game Wario Blast: Featuring Bomberman!
Level(s) 4
<< List of worlds >>

The Burn Zone[1] is Round 7 of Wario Blast: Featuring Bomberman!, set on a southern island.[2] In this round, the stages contain short fuses that make bombs take less time to detonate. In addition, the second and third stages contain Bomb-Guiding blocks that redirect kicked Bombs. The second stage contains 8 Bomb-Guiding blocks that form a large and small square, and the third stage contains 4 Bomb-guiding blocks that form a medium square. The final stage contains a boss fight with Gururin Knight. In this round, breakable blocks look like palm trees, and unbreakable blocks look like rocks.

Easter egg

While the message prior to the round mentions an "Easter egg" and a hidden password, no such things can be found in the stage itself. This is due to it being a mistranslation from the original Japanese release of the game as Bomberman GB. A more accurate, albeit poorly worded translation can be found in Bomberman Selection. With misspellings left intact, the quote in this version of the game reads as follows:

“What’s the next? Bomb’s timelimit will be shoter than usually. You know, this game has secret technique, the password is…”
In-game description[3]

While the game includes hidden passwords, such at the one to access the The Battle, they cannot be found anywhere in the Burn Zone itself. Instead, they are secret passwords that are also used in other Bomberman titles such as Super Bomberman.
