The Barter Box is a special item in Mario Party 3. It is obtainable only from either Item Bag at an item shop, inside of a Hidden Block, or meeting Toad on an Item Space. The item exchanges all of the player's items with another player's, similarly to the Plunder Chest, except the Plunder Chest steals only one item. The Barter Box's ability is more similar to the much more common Swap Card of Mario Party 4; however, the Swap Card's target is chosen by roulette.
