Bomberman using Special Items

Special Items are a type of item in Wario Blast: Featuring Bomberman! alongside Normal Item. They are dropped by defeated bosses. Each Special Item grants a certain ability with an effect that is kept after finishing the level, unlike Normal Items, and are unaffected by bombs. They were stolen by Madbombers.[1]

There are five Special Items:

  • Kicks, which is obtained after defeating the boss in Round 1, can be used to kick bombs.
  • Dashin, which is obtained after defeating the boss in Round 2, gives a speed boost to the player.
  • The Trouncer, which is obtained after defeating the boss in Round 3, allows the player to push the opponents while using Dashin.
  • Liner, which is obtained after defeating the boss in Round 4, can create a line of bombs.
  • Moto, which is obtained after defeating the boss in Round 5, allows a player to jump over blocks.
