The Yellow Toad House is a variety of Toad House appearing in New Super Mario Bros.

Inside a Yellow Toad house, Toadsworth will make a large ? Block appear. When Mario or Luigi hits this block, a Mega Mushroom will appear and replace any item already in the player's inventory.
Unlocking
These Toad Houses can sometimes be found behind Star Gates, accessible by paying five Star Coins. They may also appear if, in any level, the player reaches the flagpole with X77, X88, or X99 seconds remaining, X being anything.
