Yoshi starts the level in a grassy area with a beanstalk and some enemies nearby. Yoshi must navigate through an enemy-filled area by using beanstalks and moving platforms to reach the Middle Ring. The next area starts in the clouds, with Yoshi having to navigate across more moving platforms and clouds, with more enemies appearing as he progresses. The goal roulette can be found soon after as well.
Orange Yoshi begins the level in a grassy area with a beanstalk, ahead of which is a pipe that produces Shy Guys. Past a field with a Crazee Dayzee, there is a series of Paddle Platforms that Orange Yoshi must navigate over pits. A beanstalk leads past a ledge, where the Checkpoint Ring is located. Further ahead, Orange Yoshi enters a cloudy area populated by Gusties, where more Paddle Platforms, beanstalks, and Donut Blocks are used to traverse between clouds. After an Egg Block, there is a Winged Cloud which releases a seed that grows into a beanstalk, stretching over to a cloud that leads to the Goal Ring.

Bouncy Beanstalk Walk is the sixth level of World 1 in Yoshi's New Island. This level's playable Yoshi is the Orange Yoshi. A prevalent element in this level is beanstalks, which grow in various shapes and whose leaves can be used as platforms. However, Orange Yoshi's weight makes the leaf tilt downwards, causing him to fall off if he stands on one for too long. Most beanstalks in this level are already grown, but some sprout from seeds contained within Winged Clouds. A significant part of this level takes place in the clouds, where Gusties and Donut Blocks are introduced to the game.

Overview[edit]
