A Wario Virus is an entity appearing exclusively in WarioWare: Touched!.
During the prologue of Wario-Man's story, Wario becomes very ill and grabs Nasty Garlic from his refrigerator, believing it is regular garlic that will cure him. However, it instead creates Awful Viruses inside Wario's body, invading his cells, appearing as purple and garlic-shaped. The Awful Viruses wear off, allowing the cells, now yellow and more energized, to consume them, turning every one of them into a Wario Virus, a pink, angry cell producing steam. This transforms Wario into his alter-ego Wario-Man, thus beginning his set of microgames.
The Wario Virus is listed (along with the Awful Virus) in the game's cast credits.
