Parsley Woods in Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3
Game Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3
Level(s) 6
<< List of worlds >>

Parsley Woods is the sixth world in Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3. It is a deciduous forest area filled with trees similar to the Forest of Illusion in Super Mario World. Stages here include forest levels, stages that take place on a train, and a level involving climbing Fork Tree,[1] a giant tree in the shape of a fork that serves as the main sight of Parsley Woods. The world boss is a ghost.

The world begins with a lake, which, in Course No.31, ends up getting drained. Wario cannot move between worlds again until the lake is drained. This world features two hidden treasures and no secret exits.

After the lake is drained, the world's name on the map is re-spelled "Parsely Woods". The replacement appears deliberate, but whether the spelling was intended is unknown.[2]

Courses[edit]

Image Name Description

Small Wario, surrounded by Piranha Plants. Course No.31 A level set over the lake where spiked balls fall from the trees. After the lake is drained, the level's layout changes, and Wario is able to explore the bottom of the lake.
WLSML3 Course No 32.png Course No.32 This level takes place on a series of divided tracks, with platform carts used as the main method of travel.
WLSML3 Course No 33.png Course No.33 An auto-scrolling level set on a moving train. Falling onto the track while the train is moving results in losing a life.
Parsley Woods, Course 34 Course No.34 A vertical level set on Fork Tree. The three prongs at the top serve as the tree's branches, two of which hold the goal door and treasure room.
WLSML3 Course No 35.png Course No.35 The second moving train level. Unlike Course No.34, this level scrolls right instead of left.
WLSML3 Course No 36.png Course No.36 The boss level of Parsley Woods, set in a forest-themed location similar to Course No.31. The ghost is fought at the end of the level.
