Lava Bubble Castle is the seventy-third course in the Story Mode of Super Mario Maker 2. It is set in the castle theme and in the New Super Mario Bros. U style. It is posted by Legendary Explorer, and has a difficulty rating of 2/4 stars.
Layout[edit]
The level begins with several falling Big Lava Bubbles, along with a ? Block containing a Super Mushroom. After passing a few more Big Lava Bubbles, Mario must avoid a few winged Big Lava Bubbles on tracks before reaching the Checkpoint Flag. Some Big Lava Bubbles surround a ? Block containing a Fire Flower, and a Buzzy Shell then appears on a track above some Dry Bones. Afterwards, Mario must traverse some Donut Blocks while avoiding some falling Lava Bubbles and winged Lava Bubbles of both sizes before encountering some Lakitus that throw Big Lava Bubbles. A short distance later, Mario will then reach the axe to clear the level.
The level has an unused subarea where several Big Lava Bubbles are falling. The last one burns a Mega Bob-omb inside Hard Blocks and unblocks the path to the door. After entering a door, the player passes by a Checkpoint Flag and a Super Mushroom drops down from a zig zag-shaped path. While more Big Lava Bubbles are falling, coins and a Buzzy Shell fall together with them. After a Flimsy Lift, a lit Bob-omb inside Hard Blocks explodes and unblocks the path to the pipe.
