Wario, Wario Land 4 instruction manual

Little hearts[1] are items in Wario Land 4. They are amongst the heart items in the game, along with hearts and Full Health Items. Little hearts appear after the player defeats enemies that drop coins. Little hearts refill Wario's Heart Gauge,[1] and collecting eight empties the Heart Gauge and adds one heart to his Heart Meter. If his Heart Meter and Heart Gauge are both full, enemies that would usually drop little hearts after being defeated will drop Silver Coins instead.
