This template pertains to articles by default; to make it about a specific section instead, type <code><nowiki>{{conjecture|section=yes}}</nowiki></code>. To make it about multiple subsections, type <code><nowiki>{{conjecture|subsections=yes}}</nowiki></code>.

To make it about only ''a part'' of the article's content, type <code><nowiki>{{conjecture|part=yes}}</nowiki></code>. The purpose of this is to show when a subject is given an official name in one appearance, and then in a later appearance a similar subject is found and worth noting in the article, but there is no confirmed name for that appearance. It can also work the other way, where a subject was not given a confirmed title and then a later appearance of a similar subject is given an official title. It is important to remember that this does not confirm the title of the previous appearance. In either situation, <code><nowiki>{{conjecture|part=yes}}</nowiki></code> is used instead of <code><nowiki>{{conjecture}}</nowiki></code>.

The title of this article is conjectural; an official name for the article's subject has not been found, so it has been given a fitting title by the editors. If an acceptable name is found, then the article should be moved to the new title.

Usage

This template pertains to articles by default; to make it about a specific section instead, type {{conjecture|section=yes}}. To make it about multiple subsections, type {{conjecture|subsections=yes}}.

To make it about only a part of the article's content, type {{conjecture|part=yes}}. In either situation, {{conjecture|part=yes}} is used instead of {{conjecture}}.

Be sure to read naming policy before applying this template.
