Description | |
Place up to two spaces ahead or behind to steal half the coins of an opponent who stops there. | |
First appearance | Super Mario Party Jamboree (2024) |
Effect | An item that can be placed on any space and steals half of the Coins from the first player who lands on it. |
The Half-Coins Steal Trap is an item in Super Mario Party Jamboree. It is a circular panel with a Coin and "1/2" printed on a purple-checkered background. The player can place this item up to two spaces forward or behind their current position. Although it does not have any similarities with any of the Hexes, it functions similarly to the Piranha Plant Orb from Mario Party 5, Mario Party 6, and Mario Party 7, in that it steals half of the coins from the player who lands on it. Once it is activated, the item disappears from the board.
Bowser Jr.'s Jamboree Buddy ability causes him to place a Half-Coins Steal Trap on the player's behalf on the space the player lands on each turn.
