Nearby the green, there is also a {{wp|Niagara Falls}} area that is a shallow water obstacle. The sign, that reports the hole par shots and yards, leaves both indications unknown.

Mario is the first to go, landing in Hawaii and getting distracted by the hula girls, which results in {{Peach}} getting jealous, overriding her [[Peach Robo]] protocol and giving him the wrong club, yet a strong one that let him skip over the Arizona area. When approaching the green, Golf Daiō uses his powers to alter the ground and makes Mario's ball fall in the Niagara Falls area. Mario manages to recuperate in the next shot, landing on the green, but Golf Daiō makes the [[Statue of Liberty]] emerge from under him and his ball to hinder him, but thanks to [[Ayako Okamomo|Ayako]] and Peach, Mario manages to finish the hole with one shot less than Golf Daiō, defeating him and winning the match.
