Camelot Co. Ltd., trading as Camelot Software Planning, is a game development company whose games are published by other companies. It was originally a division of Sega known as Sega CD4 and Sonic! Software Planning, and it was responsible for Sega's Shining series. Camelot became independent and took on its current name in 1994.
Camelot's first game with Nintendo was Mario Golf. The company has since gone on to develop future Mario Golf games as well as the Mario Tennis series and Golden Sun series. The music for these series was composed by Motoi Sakuraba, a long-time collaborator of Camelot also known for his musical work in Bandai Namco's Dark Souls and Tales series.
