First appearance | Virtual Boy Wario Land (1995) |
Mastah Mosquito[1] is an enemy in Virtual Boy Wario Land. It is encountered in Stage 7. When Wario enters certain areas with these oversized mosquitoes, it will emerge from below the floor, and try to harm Wario using its sharp proboscis. If Wario evades the attack, Mastah Mosquito will turn back the way it came in order to try and attack again. It will give up on the second attempt and retreat back towards the ceiling, swooping again within a few seconds. Wario can stun Mastah Mosquito for a few seconds by jumping on top of it. He is also able to defeat it by performing a Body Slam or a Barge to a non-threatening part of its body. Like many other enemies, Wario can also use the flames of Sea Dragon or King Dragon Wario to defeat it.
