Lizardon, Wario's Woods (Super Nintendo Entertainment System)

Lizardon is the twelfth boss in VS COM mode of the SNES version of Wario's Woods. His name is a portmanteau of "lizard" and "don", a Greek suffix meaning "tooth" frequently used for naming dinosaurs. He is found in the mountains and is obsessed with crushing Toad's apparent dreams of fame. He is a chubby and purple creature resembling a dinosaur, and has a horn sticking out of his nose, along with a short but long spine on his back. He looks somewhat like a combination of a Ceratosaurus and an Acrocanthosaurus.
