Water Sacks are encountered on the ground and in stacks, which respawn after use, so the players can use as many fruits as they need. Every Water Sack contains some water, necessary to extinguish fire. Water Sacks can be carried and thrown by the Kongs; after being thrown, the Water Sacks burst and release water on the target. This can be a small patch of burning grass or dirt or a burning portion of a vine. Water Sacks are also used as a weapon to defeat enemies. A notable example is the fiery enemies Porcupals.

Water Sacks appear only on the Bright Savannah island, starting in the wildfire level Scorch 'n' Torch. They also appear in Rickety Rafters, where the Kongs have to use projectiles, most often Water Sacks, on targets in order to trigger certain mechanisms.

A Water Sack in Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze
Donkey Kong prepares to hurl a Water Sack.

Water Sacks,[1] also referred to as water fruits,[2] are objects in Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze. They are encountered on the Bright Savannah island only, beginning in Scorch 'n' Torch, and they appear in Rickety Rafters also. Water Sacks can be picked up by the Kongs and used as projectiles on targets to trigger certain mechanisms. Water Sacks burst upon thrown at a target, releasing the water inside of it. Water Sacks can douse fires and defeat fiery enemies, notably Porcupals. Water Sacks resemble gigantic berries, nearly the size of the Kongs. A Water Sack is plump and indigo-colored with darker spots on the skin and also sports a tiny receptacle on top of it, fenced with four leaves. Water Sacks are encountered on the ground and in stacks, which respawn after use. Every Water Sack contains some water, necessary to extinguish fire.
