Classic Series, stylized as Classic Serie in Europe, is a series of many reissues of Nintendo Entertainment System, Game Boy and Super Nintendo Entertainment System games, similar to how Nintendo Selects series were later implemented.

Mario Bros. (Classic Series)

  • Mario Bros. was a game that was in the Classic Series in 1993. However, this version of Mario Bros. was quite different to the original NES version.

Differences

  • The cutscenes from the arcade version have been reimplemented.
  • Mario can now turn a different direction while in midair, this feature originated Kaettekita Mario Bros..
  • The Shellcreeper's sprites look more similar to the arcade version. These sprites also originated from Kaettekita Mario Bros.
  • The Icicle enemies have been reimplemented.
