Level E1-3 is the third course of Orbiting Observatory in Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Tipping Stars.
The level features two Mini Marios and two Mini DKs.
Overview[edit]
The course is a maze of Magnet Grounds, Red Girder Rivets and other platforms. There are also several Blue Lift Rivets that help form connections between platform layers. Several Pokeys form the main threat throughout the area.
The Minis start in distant positions in the level. The Goal Door, located at the top right, is guarded by a Pokey patrolling on a Magnet Ground. Near the Magnet Ground is a pair of Hammers. To gain access to the Goal Door, the Minis should pick up the Hammers, climb the Magnet Ground and destroy the Pokey.
M Coin[edit]
The M Coin is located at the bottom left corner of the level, under one of the Mini DKs. A magnetic ceiling located above a pit of spikes leads to the coin, although the passage is blocked by a Pokey. The Minis have to pick up the nearby Hammers and fall onto the magnetic platform under them, bump into a Red Girder wall to change direction, then go around the Magnet Ground and destroy the Pokey with the Hammers in use. The Minis then encounter a non-magnetic surface that forces them to fall off the Magnet Ground and head for the coin immediately afterwards.
