Grin and Bar It is an 8-Player minigame in Mario Party 7. Its name is a pun on the phrase "grin and bear it."

Introduction[edit]

The minigame starts out with all eight characters running onto a stage after a curtain opening. The characters stop on individual spots, next to their teammates, and jump over a large, bent metal bar being rotated by Ukikis.

Gameplay[edit]

The players need to jump over the bent metal bar as it rotates. If the bar hits a player, they are eliminated. As the game progresses, the bar rotates faster and faster. The team with one or both members left standing wins. The game ends in a tie if all teams hit the bar.

Ending[edit]

The winners stand on the middle of the podium and do their winning animations, while the losers do their losing animations in front of the podium.

Controls[edit]

In-game text[edit]

  • Rules"Jump over the rotating metal bar to avoid being hit. The last team with a standing player wins!"
