This enemy is never been in a game with mario

I'd assume it's because it's a variation of a Mario series enemy. Thwomps originate from the Mario series and while I've never played Link's Awakening in any form, I do know that it takes a lot of enemy inspiration from the Mario series, so it's more than likely that this enemy is meant to be a spin-off from Thwomps themselves, despite not being from a Mario game. This is far from the only case where the Zelda franchise has done this -- Manhandla is established as a Piranha Plant variant, for one, and its only presence on this wiki is a brief reference on the Piranha Plant page. Mega Thwomp should definitely be the same way. 73.171.36.107 20:51, August 11, 2023 (EDT)
Manhandla just hasn't been split yet. Thwomps is Thwomps, no matter what game they are in. And the Zelda games have a whole slew of Thwomps in them, not just this, and the previous system of covering them all on the main Thwomp page was awkward. That's ridiculous. This is Super Mario Wiki, not Thwomp Wiki. Let Zelda Wiki handle their whole slew of Thwomps.
Was this a proposal? I can't fathom why it would be decided that this is within the scope of MarioWiki. 73.171.36.107 19:25, August 13, 2023 (EDT)

It's within the scope of the wiki because it's a literal derivative of a Mario enemy. -- KOOPA CON CARNE 19:42, August 13, 2023 (EDT)
For the record, it's covered by this proposal. LinkTheLefty (talk) 20:15, August 13, 2023 (EDT)
