:I lean towards keeping it as-is for similar reasons as [[Talk:Mrs. Thwomp|this]] (I've mentioned the [https://legendsoflocalization.com/fat-beauty-and-a-link-between-worlds-localization “transcreation”] concept a few times, which we recently found out [[tcrf:Prerelease:Super Mario World (SNES)/Background Graphics and Tilemaps#Enemy Cast List|even happened with Fishin' Boo]]). Don't split it. If the only difference a slight color change, then should we give Boos from ''New Super Mario Bros. Wii'' their own page because they have a blue hue, making them look blue? Should we have a page for Bob-ombs in ''Super Mario Sunshine'' because they look a bit different? Of course not, enemies can have design changes between games. Split?[edit]
"Their Japanese name implies that they are shyer than the normal Boos, and, thus, may not be the same enemy." So why are we treating them as such? I'm neutral on the issue right now, but I'd like to see if this is worth splitting. Scrooge200 (talk) 15:31, August 25, 2020 (EDT)
- I lean towards keeping it as-is for similar reasons as this (I've mentioned the “transcreation” concept a few times, which we recently found out even happened with Fishin' Boo). That said, it's not the exact same palette - Dark Boos have blue tongues in The Thousand-Year Door and red tongues in Partners in Time. LinkTheLefty (talk) 15:40, August 25, 2020 (EDT)
- I'm also neutral on the issue; they're similar enough splitting them is not a high priority for me, along with the outright misnamed-in-Japanese Boo Guys (though that may have been a space issue). Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 16:02, August 25, 2020 (EDT)
- I don't get it. What are we splitting? --DarkNight 16:10, August 25, 2020 (EDT)
- We'd be splitting the Paper Mario series Dark Boos and the Partners in Time Dark Boos. Scrooge200 (talk) 16:18, August 25, 2020 (EDT)

Honestly, I'm not sure about this one. Nightwicked Bowser
- I actually think they should split for this article is confusing. —-OhoJeeOnFire (talk) 07:24, October 19, 2021 (EDT)
