Fiery Archies usually tread back and forth slowly (some being completely stationary), having a focused look on their target. At regular intervals, they raise their bow to shoot a flaming fish bone, which travels on a straight line and breaks upon contact with a wall. Unlike the fish shot by regular Archies, these fish bones cannot be stomped on.

Variant of Archy

Archies (fire)[1] are enemies from Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze and its Nintendo Switch port and member of the Snowmads. They are almost identical in appearance to their namesake, only being colored red instead of navy blue. Furthermore, they use the same attack technique and are less common.

Archies themselves are harmful to touch directly, but are vulnerable to any of the Kongs' attacks, such as stomping, rolling or barrel tossing. In Scorch 'n' Torch, a stationary fiery Archy is crushed by a Flaming Falling Totem Pole.
