Red-Hot Run or World Castle-3 is the third level of World Castle in Super Mario 3D World and its Nintendo Switch port Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury. It is unlocked by completing Fort Fire Bros., and completion of either this level or Switchblack Ruins unlocks Boiling Blue Bully Belt. It is a 100-second level, like Pretty Plaza Panic and Backstreet Bustle, but considerably longer, thus incorporating the use of Dash Panels.
Layout
The characters must speed through several areas containing spiked rollers and Donut Blocks atop somewhat narrow platforms. Clear Pipes are used to travel to other sections of the level. There are a total of 56 Dash Panels in the level, and the sounds they make when running across them increase and decrease in pitch along with the music.
Green Stars
- Green Star 1: At the end of the first section, the first Green Star is located on the right path.
- Green Star 2: At the beginning of the second section, the player must go through a Green Ring and collect the eight Green Coins that appear to collect the second Green Star.
- Green Star 3: Near the end of the second section, the player must take the middle path and jump through the spiked rollers to reach the third Green Star.
Stamp
Shortly after the second Green Star, the player must take the path on the left past the spiked rollers, and jump over a gap. The stamp is a Super Leaf.
