A bridge[1] is a type of platform appearing in New Super Mario Bros. U along with New Super Luigi U. It is found in the level The Final Battle, in which it makes up a majority of the platforms provided. Each layer is found just over the lava. It is a floor made up of skeleton bones. Mario and Luigi may use them as standard, solid platforms. However, whenever Bowser Jr. in his Junior Clown Car slams down on a bridge, it causes brief ripples which must be avoided so as not to be stunned. If an enemy is on a bridge as the shockwave occurs, it is likely to be stunned for a moment as well.
