Grin and Bar It is an 8-Player minigame in Mario Party 7. Its name is a pun on the phrase "grin and bear it." This minigame's mechanics are similar to those of Hot Rope Jump from Mario Party and Mario Party 2.
Introduction
The minigame starts out with all eight characters running onto a stage after a curtain opening. The characters stop on individual spots, next to their teammates, and jump over a large, bent metal bar being rotated by Ukikis.
Gameplay
The players need to jump over the bent metal bar as it rotates. If the bar hits a player, they will be eliminated. As the game progresses, the bar rotates faster and faster. The team with one or both members left standing wins. The game ends in a tie if all teams hit the bar.
