Game Freak (stylized as GAME FREAK) is a Japanese video game company best known for developing the mainline Pokémon video games. Prior to the Pokémon franchise, Game Freak has worked with Nintendo on two Mario games: Yoshi and Mario & Wario, the latter being exclusive to Japan. Game Freak also worked on the Game Boy Camera, which has Mario-related elements in it.
