Half the Battle is a Team minigame appearing in Super Mario Party. It is unique in that it can be played in regular Mario Party mode only if each player has at least one ally character. The name comes from the phrase "half the battle," meaning that something is the most important step in achieving a goal.
Gameplay
In this minigame, each team must gather crest halves on either side of the area and join them together at the partition for one point each. If a player touches an Amp, they are briefly stunned. After one minute, the team with more points wins.
On the Challenge Road, this is the eighth minigame played at End of the Road and the 71st challenge overall. Here, the player must win without touching an Amp.
