The Super Mario Bros. Trading Cards were a series of collectible trading cards based on the 1993 Super Mario Bros. film. They were released over the summer and winter of 1993, with a total of 101 regular cards and 3 hologram ones. The summer release cards have yellow text, while the winter release has a light blue text. The summer release was produced by the now defunct SkyBox International, while the winter release was released by defunct Australian company Dynamic Marketing. The cards feature high quality images, both screen caps from the film itself and some behind the scenes photographs.

Some of the cards feature content cut from the final film. There is a deleted scene where Spike and Iggy rap at the Boom Boom Bar that receives its own card. Two deleted scene cards involve Mario and Luigi arguing with Mike and Doug of Scapelli Construction regarding how long a job at the Riverfront Cafe would take. Toad's hologram card erroneously calls him "Lemmy" on the front, though it is corrected on the back. This is due to Toad being named Lemmy in earlier drafts of the film.

Set List No. Image Name Description
#1 Super Mario Bros. Trading Cards A Strange New World "From a safe distance, it looks like Earth as we know it. But up close, it's a strange world, oozing with slow-moving slime and ruled by prehistoric forces. Truthfully it's a lot like New York City. And yet..."
#2 Super Mario Bros. Trading Cards Mysterious Woman "On a dark rainy night 20 years ago, a young, desperate woman places a precious bundle on the steps of St. Teresa's. But the package holds no ordinary contribution to the church. Within lies a cone-shaped pendant and an 18-inch egg - in mid-hatch!"
#3 Super Mario Bros. Trading Cards Mario Mario "Meet Mario Mario, the elder Mario brother and main brain behind the family plumbing business. Cool as an iceblock in winter, he's a man's man, a Mario's Mario. What could possibly ruffle this guy's feathers? He's about to find out!"
#4 Super Mario Bros. Trading Cards Luigi Mario "Here's Luigi Mario, long, lean and definitely living in a fantasy world. The only thing Luigi has in common with his older brother Mario is... well, nothing. But if dreams could be turned into gold, Luigi would be a rich man. Unfortunately, they can't."
#5 Super Mario Bros. Trading Cards Call For Help "An emergency phone call from the Riverfront Cafe requires quick action and superior skill. Is it a heart attack victim? A customer choking on a chicken bone? Nope. It's a broken dishwasher, which calls for Brooklyn's best, the Mario Bros.!"
#6 Super Mario Bros. Trading Cards Driven Crazy "The Mario Bros.' beat-up old van may not exactly be the "Bat-mobile", but Luigi can sure make it dance! Speeding past speeders and maneuvering around heavy New York traffic, the younger brother scouts out a shortcut to the Riverfront Cafe."

#8 Super Mario Bros. Trading Cards Nobody Touches My Tools "Only someone with a death wish would dare to stand up to Scapelli's cronies -- unless it's Mario Mario, who has a pet peeve about being pushed around. He tells Doug and Mike Scapelli, "You don't know a pipe from a crowbar."
