Variant of | Tucks |
Speedy Tucks are uncommon Snowmads enemies in Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze and its Nintendo Switch port. They resemble normal Tucks except they wear red pants rather than green.
At first a Speedy Tucks acts like a Tucks as it slowly strolls on the path. Upon noticing the Kongs, the Speedy Tucks then charges and runs after them, even if they change direction. Speedy Tucks can be defeated by any method of attack: stomping, rolling, throwing projectiles, or knocking into them with Rambi.
Speedy Tucks first appear late into the game, during the level Shoal Atoll. In Reckless Ride, a Speedy Tucks operates a wooden robot in an attempt to hinder the Kongs' progress. At the end of the level, the Speedy Tucks gets blown out of its robot. If the player waits for a bit before hitting the Slot Machine Barrel, a scene in the background shows the Speedy Tucks parachuting down to the ground, only to be eaten by a Chompasaurus.
